Hello, I'm Mrs. Almquist. I have been teaching first grade at Bertha-Hewitt since 2013. I am a 2003 graduate of Bertha-Hewitt and enjoy being back as a teacher. My husband Dan and I currently live in the Bertha-Hewitt area. We have a 6 year old son named Owen and a 1 year old daughter named Iyla. When I am not teaching I enjoy shopping, reading, baking, and spending time with family.  I am looking forward to a great year with the first graders.

Communication is key to making our school year go smoothly so I am available to visit with you during the following times.

7:45am - 8:10-am

11:30am - 11:55am

3:00pm - 3:30pm
